Karina DePiano is a classically trained, Los Angeles-based musician, specializing in music direction, keyboard playing, and production. She is organized, a high-energy performer, and passionate about working with artists to help them achieve their ultimate performance.
Karina has most recently toured with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour. The record-breaking tour consisted of 149 shows across 5 continents. During the three-hour long set each night, Karina was highlighted with a piano solo intro to the song “Tolerate It”, which is also featured in the Eras Tour Movie.
She has performed and toured around the world with Troye Sivan, Miley Cyrus, Fifth Harmony, Rita Ora, Daya, Niki, Julia Michaels, Ke$ha and Alessia Cara. Karina has music directed for Troye Sivan, mxmtoon, Daya, and Malia Civetz.
Karina has performed on several TV shows including Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Today Show and many more. In 2021 she appeared in Taylor Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” music video and performed at the American Music Awards with Olivia Rodrigo.
Karina attended USC’s Thornton School of Music as a Popular Music Major, where she studied under Patrice Rushen. In her time at USC, Karina accompanied Glenn Frey and was the music director for a master class with Chaka Khan.
